ICS exchange aims at becoming a meeting point for researchers in education, psychology, communication, and to all those who have an interest in the future of inclusion paradigm in learning field. The Conference is expected to advance a set of scientific knowledge and methodologies of intervention that can be purposefully applied to the design and development of social media solutions that support the learning process.
ICS exchange engages researchers, practitioners, educational developers, entrepreneurs to address current challenges and advances in the field. The conference will focus on the transformative power of creativity and change.
This European Edition of ICS exchange is free, thus no fee is required. It is open to all researchers, including early stage researchers, that are encouraged to apply. Indeed, ICS exchange aims to promote a community of practice in this field, offering different perspectives from multidisciplinary fields (e.g. psychology, education, communication).

Guidelines for Speakers
Adequate technical support will be provided in each session to transmit audio and video/presentation material (slides, videos and so on). There is no specific template required for your presentation.
Topics
The Third Edition of the ICS exchenge conference foresees six special tracks that covers different topic of the overlapping between inclusion, communication and social engagement.
Guide for Submission
All applications must be submitted electronically by September 1, 2026 by emailing learningsciencesinstitute@unifg.it.
Contributions must be in English and should be submitted in the form of an abstract with references (max 2 pages).
Please remember to select exactly one track (general or special) during the submission process on the EasyChair platform.
At least two members of the program committee will review all submissions and will provide an evaluation according to the following criteria:
- originality and novelty
- quality and accuracy
- relevance to the conference
- impact in the fields of the conference
- evidence (theoretical or empirical)
- presentation and clarity
The authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to present their work at the Conference. The accepted abstracts will be available in a digital book of abstracts of the Conference (with ISBN).
The authors of the accepted contributions will be invited to submit an extended version of their work in the form of a final full paper (at least 12 pages comprising references). Full papers will undergo a second round of reviews.
Accepted full papers, whose authors will have attended the workshop (at least one registered author), will be included, free of charge, in the workshop post-proceedings, published in Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series, indexed in Scopus and other important indexing databases.
If the authors desire to publish open access their paper, this is possible through the Springer Open Choice. Authors will have to communicate this to the organization, sign a special copyright form, different from the standard one, and provide the billing address of the authors/their organization for the invoice. Each paper will be invoiced individually.

The Program Committee requests original papers on the Topics of the ICS exchange Conference. All submitted research contribution must be written in English (UK).
All proposed papers must be submitted in PDF format using the ICS exchange conference management systems through EasyChair. Check the term and conditions for publication and the Submission Guideline: https://ics-exchange.com/guide-for-submission/
Format

Papers are accepted in the following format:
- full papers (>=12 pages)
Review process
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least two experts in the field that are part of the Program Committee and/or external reviewers. Each paper will be refereed based on innovative degree, scientific relevance and quality.
