Agostino Portera
Agostino Portera, Full Professor of General and Intercultural Pedagogy at the University of Verona; Director of the Centre for Intercultural Studies at the University of Verona; President of the Degree Course in Educational Sciences.
In addition to numerous periods spent abroad (including as a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Freiburg, Southampton, London, Thessaloniki, Würzburg, UCLA Los Angeles, and OISE Toronto), he regularly collaborates with several Italian and foreign journals and is an editorial board member of the journal Intercultural Education (Carfax Publishing, London). Since September 1, 2002, he has been a member of the board of directors of the International Association for Intercultural Education (IAIE).
Daniel Mara
Daniel Mara is PhD Professor and Dean at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, authorized to conduct doctorates in the field of “Educational Sciences”.
His main scientific fields are inclusive education, non-formal education, differentiated pedagogy, curriculum adaptation, cognitive and metacognitive intervention and training of trainers.
In these fields he has held positions as project manager, member of research or training teams and coordinator of ERASMUS+ programs, as well as member of national and international associations and societies. He has also produced numerous single-authored, coordinated and collaborative scientific papers to support the work of teachers and educators.
